Custom wall-mounted VirtuHot controller with display and antenna

Building on the control architecture developed in Phase 1, GCSC and VenFeld are advancing the VirtuHot solar-thermal platform from a validated prototype to a market-ready MVP, hardening the hardware, refining the software, and preparing the system for commercial deployment.

From Phase 1

Phase 1 established the full-stack control architecture: custom PCBs integrating industrial protocols, a closed-loop controller, and an operator-facing interface. Phase 2 picks up where that foundation left off, stress-testing it against real-world conditions and closing the gap to a shippable product.

Scope · GCSC

Maturing the embedded hardware and software stack into a robust, manufacturable product: improving reliability, tightening tolerances, and delivering the integration work needed to bring VirtuHot to its first commercial installations.

Supported by the Kansen voor West 3 programme and co-financed by the European Union, alongside commercial investment.
